Taking place on Sunday, 9 August 2026, the Women's Day Cake Masterclass offers a relaxed and hands-on experience led by the hotel's Executive Chef, Chef Chante Rabie. From 12:30 to 16:00, guests will enjoy a welcome mimosa before Afternoon Tea and learning the art of decorating their own bento cake to take home.
Designed for friends, mothers and daughters, sisters, or anyone looking to mark the occasion together, the masterclass offers the opportunity to slow down, learn a new skill and spend quality time in a welcoming setting overlooking Cape Town's Atlantic coastline.
Alongside the guided decorating session, guests can enjoy tea and a selection of savoury and sweet treats prepared by The President Hotel's pastry team, creating an afternoon that is as indulgent as it is memorable.
Located in Bantry Bay, The President Hotel has become known for creating experiences that bring people together through food, creativity and hospitality. The Women's Day Cake Masterclass continues this approach, offering a thoughtful way to celebrate the occasion while creating something by hand.
Tickets are R595 per adult, including a welcome mimosa, afternoon tea, and the guided bento cake decorating experience. Children are welcome to join at R325 per child, making it an ideal activity for families celebrating across generations.
